The Kenya ministry began during Vic Rader's visit to Kenya in Dec. 2003. As we became aware of the dire needs of the orphans who were abandoned and abused, a plan evolved to rescue the young under-age-five orphans. Financial assistance was offered to those who were attempting to care for these precious children. In May 2005 the Encouragement Inc. organization purchased the above 3.5 acres with a 23 bedroom hotel and began to renovate, staff and equip the facilities to take in orphans. Today there are 51 orphans and a staff of twelve.
What We Believe
We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into Hades; the third day He rose again from the dead: He ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
