Debbie P.

$30.00Price

DOB:  September 26, 2018

Debbie was just a little 3 year old girl when she was abandoned on the street in Webuye, Kenya by her mother who became mentally ill after a terrible gang rape and a beating that left her crippled in one leg.  The mother's family rejected her due to the pregnancy saying to let her live with them would be a "bad omen."  Little Debbie's mother gave birth to her while living on the street and survived by eating from trash bins and kept her until her mental issues became worse.  She would be seen beating this little girl before she completely abandoned her.   On September 26, 2020 she was brought to Encouragement's Children's Home by a woman who rescued her as she was hiding under some trash along the street in a rain storm.  She was suffering from malnutrition and several other issues.  She tested negative for HIV.   We are glad to have rescued Debbie into the Encouragement family and are praying for her to become mentally and physically healthy in the days ahead.   Thank you God for saving this child!  You can become one of three sponsors needed to meet the needs for little Debbie. ($30 per month; $360 per year)  Monthly sponsors will receive a monthly email from her and can email her anytime also.  (Staff will sit with her & write for her.)
