Faustine and her sister Ivine were both brought to the Encouragement Children's Home in Jan. 2019.  Their father had died and they and their mother were left to live in complete poverty.  Both children were experiencing great malnutrition.  The village elders granted permission for these two children to become part of the Encouragement Chidlren's Home family where the chidlren are loved and cared for well.
